            A 30 minute drive east of the park, this monument is waiting for you to explore its ancient lave flows, volcanic glass, river, lakes, caves, hot springs, waterfall and forest. A must not miss is a drive up to Paulina Peak to take in the 360 degree views of central Oregon.

            Ever had the chance to enjoy playing on waterslides made by nature? Check out the Paulina Plunge. Descend your way over six miles of smooth forest trail on your mountain bike; stopping at six beautiful waterfalls along the way and playing in two. Only an 8-minute drive north of the campgrounds is the meeting place for this adventure.

 

















CRATER LAKE

            This National Park is famous for its deep blue color and clear water in the caldera lake. Formed over 7,700 years ago by the collapse of the volcano Mount Mazama. The rim road offers a scenic drive or bike ride around the lake with many view points to snap a photo. The drive to the park entrance is an hour southwest of the park.

 

MOUNT BACHELOR

This resort is one of largest in the northwest offering 3,683 skiable acres. If skiing or snowboarding isn’t your thing, try their tubing park, snowshoe tours, Nordic skiing or sled dog rides. In the summer the mountain continues to run one chairlift. Enjoy a meal at their Pine Marten Lodge. Or bring along your mountain bike to try your skills on their downhill bike park. Its only a 45 minute drive NW of the park.
